My name is Samantha, I'm 20 years old and I'm from the Netherlands. I had
the privilege to be at IHOP last year and to hear your report of your trip
to Thailand and Cambodia with the hidden camera's and everything.
Thank you so much for praying for Amsterdam this month.

I had the privilege to evangelize in the Red Light District 3 years ago,
together with 2 other woman.
I want to share some of the experiences I had in talking to these woman, and
just being in this demonic area.

There were lots of woman there who were clearly from South America. They
couldn't speak dutch an sometimes not even english.
There were also young girls, 15-16 years old.
Some of the woman were really 'presenting' themselves in front of the
windows, but there were also woman that were just looking down, or even
crying behind their window.

There was one girl I talked to, she told me she was a christian. I asked her
how it could be that she was working as a prostitute. She said that she
liked this job and that she needed money to study. After a while she was
acting so weird and she said that she couldn't handle to talk about God
because of the darkness she was in. She said she couldn't handle the light
and she wanted to go on working and having man coming in her room.
So we walked away and after a while came back. We asked if we could take her
with us but she said she couldn't handle the light in the darkness.
We talked about her salvation and about the love of God and suddenly she
said; I know we are in the endtimes, the signs are everywhere, but I can't
come with you.
It was so weird that she said this. We just started crying in front of her
window and she just closed the door and went on with her 'business'.
It was crazy.
I remember I was so mad at all these men. It was so weird, just standing
there crying because of these woman while all these men were walking around
searching for something that won't fill them up.
I almost had to throw up. It was disgusting.

There were people walking around, it was like they were demonized. There was
one man that told us to go away the whole time. He constantly said that
everyone hated him and that life was worthless. One of the woman I was with
began to speak life and love over him and he wanted to hit her but he
couldn't for some reason. Then he ran away.

I remember most woman didn't really want to talk at all. They were so
distant, and just smiling like it was just normal what they were doing.
If we asked if we could talk to them, most woman shaked their head. Some
wanted to, and if we told them about Jesus they were just like; 'yeah,  I
know that He loves me.'

I also saw like a mother and her daughter behind the windows, I'm so sure
they were trafficked, they looked like east-european or something.

I do have a good testimony that 1/3 of the red light district
closed last year.

Blessings and thank you for praying for Amsterdam
