A Historic Answer to Prayer

As a result of your faithful prayers we are excited to announce a historic moment for Exodus Cry. This past week God entrusted us with a new Lighthouse in Kansas City for the restoration of trafficking victims. We dedicated this house to the Lord during our Monday night prayer meeting at the International House of Prayer. Click on the video below to listen to the story of this new Lighthouse and watch the dedication.

“Today we launched a new Exodus Cry Lighthouse in Kansas City for victims of human trafficking. Tonight when I lay my head down to rest, I will do so in peace knowing that a few more girls will be safe from the horrors of sex slavery. ‘For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now I will arise, says the Lord; I will set [her] in the safety for which [she] yearns.’ (Ps. 12:5)”

My heart has cried out for this before I even knew much about the work that is ongoing here in this city.  I can but rejoice for this earnest of the Holy Spirit in behalf of those that are to be nurtured and set free.  I am seeking His Face continually to see what the Spirit is saying to those of us in the pews that desire Him more than “any other, so much more than anything”     ARISE, SHINE; FOR YOUR LIGHT HAS COME, AND THE FLORY OF THE LORD HAS RISEN UPON YOU….”  Isaiah 60:1   To God be all the glory!  Sandy
