Testimonials

  • “[Exodus Cry’s film] Nefarious changed my life forever. I dedicated my life to the cause, wrote my master's thesis on trafficking patterns in central Texas, and became a federal special agent that investigates human trafficking cases. Thank you for your work inspiring others to take action.”

  • “...the most impactful film that I have ever seen on sex trafficking.”

  • “I just watched your film Raised on Porn and I really have no words for my emotions. So thankful for it and wanted to thank you for your work and engagement. I sent links to your movies to a lot of friends of mine who are still in the porn industry or who are working as sex workers and it started a big emotional and honest conversation about everything. And some of them are planning to change their lives.”

  • “I am 14 and have been struggling with porn since I was 8… lately I have had a huge addiction that always leaves me looking at myself in the mirror asking myself if it was even worth it.... This [film] really changed how I saw porn and got me to delete everything that I had. I will deeply reflect and try to get help.”

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is Exodus Cry? Exodus Cry is a nonprofit organization committed to uprooting sex trafficking and sexual exploitation. To accomplish this mission, we create films exposing the injustice for audiences worldwide, conduct campaigns to pass stronger laws and hold predatory businesses accountable, and provide direct assistance to victims of the sex trade so they can find freedom.
Are your films free to watch? Yes! All of our content on Exodus Cry Films is free to watch with a free account.
Why do you make films? We create films to shift culture. Sex trafficking and exploitation are rooted in a culture of acceptance toward the sex trade. But the more people know the truth about how and why these crimes happen, the more they can become part of the solution. Believe it or not, even sex buyers have stopped buying women after watching our films. The truth is powerful and our films are made to shout it from the rooftops.
What is the recommended viewing age for your films? This depends a lot on which film, since the level of intensity of the content varies widely. In general, 18+ is a safe guideline for all of our films, but some would be suitable for 15+. We list our minimum age recommendation under the description for each film. These aren’t based on MPAA ratings, they represent our subjective opinion as a staff.
Do your films contain sensitive content? Yes, in order to effectively communicate the realities of trafficking and sexual exploitation, we include hard-hitting content that appropriately illuminates the injustice. We make a sincere effort to avoid gratuitous content and strive to only include what is necessary to convey the film’s message. Our films do not contain nudity (we use blurring where necessary), but some of them contain profanity. We encourage viewers to watch the film trailers beforehand, when available, to discern whether a particular film feels right for them to view.
How have your films impacted the world? Our film and media content has received over 100 million views from audiences worldwide. They have been screened around the world in churches, universities, for at-risk girls in third world countries, to train law enforcement, for parliaments in multiple nations, the US Congress and the United Nations. They have even helped to support the passing of laws, in multiple countries, that significantly reduce sex trafficking and protect children from porn.
